We’ve got your floor coating needs covered. Whether it's a single garage or a full-scale warehouse, let’s make your space shine.
Epoxy
The Budget Option
-
Appealing look that can transform a basement or showroom floor. Typically 3 layers that is about 3-4 MM thick (Base Coat + Epoxy + Flakes)
-
Epoxy coatings offer a budget-friendly choice for garage floors, presenting an appealing look initially with their thick application. Marketed for easy DIY installations, they require minimal tools and experience.
-
However, epoxy's drawbacks include susceptibility to fading, peeling, and cracking due to its low elasticity and heat resistance, making it better suited for interior items like furniture. Sun exposure can unevenly fade floors, and tire heat may erode the epoxy layer. Epoxy suits garages not exposed to extreme temperatures, sunlight, or hot tires
Polyaspartic
The Better Option
-
About 4 MM thick (Base Coat + Flakes + Primer) This is ideal for garages or workspaces. Areas where you will see lots of dirt, grime, spills, and debris build up. The Polyaspartic also provides UV protection with coverage from the protective top coat and the UV resistant falkes.
-
Polyaspartic is highly recommended for garage floors and workspaces. At 4mm thickness, it boasts a strength that is more than 3 times that of epoxy, requiring less frequent maintenance with a "set it and forget it" approach. This durability often results in a lifetime warranty for polyaspartic coatings, unlike epoxy, which typically does not come with a warranty.
-
Polyaspartic coatings dry very quickly, similar to fast-drying adhesive, which can lead to messy applications if not handled swiftly. To address the rapid curing rate, our trained technicians ensure a mess-free, timely, and professional installation, thanks to our finely tuned work process.
Polyaspartic & Base Coat Primer
The Best Option
-
A separate base coat primer adds a 4th layer of protection (Base Primer+ Intermediate Coat + Flakes + Top Coat) in this option bringing the overall thickness to 5mm which is higher than most installation standards.
-
Not only will this ensure a lifetime finish you know you will have a highly durable and longer lasting finish. Lifetime warranty is included (see exclusions on warranty page)
-
Higher cost due to extra materials and base coating. Not always required but might be needed depending on your situations (high oil spills that have soaked deep into the concrete).
